Mindfully Aware

Yesterday was not a good day for me. My emotions and depression were both getting bad. But even during this difficult time, I managed to pull myself out of it, even for a little bit, to notice my surroundings. I tried to focus on the present and what was in front of me. The touch of a tree, the view of a mountain, the sound of cars driving and people talking, the smell of flowers. It was during these moments that I felt as if I would be alright. Life was still happening and it wasn’t the end of the world. Thankfully I am feeling better today and hopefully this can help someone to become Mindfully Aware for just a moment. šŸ™‚
